Procurement Professional
Intermediate Level
Tier 2 builds on the foundational level and is suited for professionals with more experience and responsibility in procurement. At this level, soft skills shift toward greater responsibility and leadership, including team building, time management, meeting deadlines, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, decision-making, and risk management. Professionals are also expected to uphold confidentiality, respect authority, and maintain high ethical standards.
What You Need
Academic Requirements
The academic requirements remain similar to Tier 1, with a bachelor’s degree or HND in any field as the primary qualification, while OND/NCE holders may also qualify with additional experience.
Experience Requirements
Candidates with B.Sc/HND must possess five (5) years of employment with at least three (3) years in procurement practice, while OND/NCE holders require seven (7) years of employment, including five (5) years in procurement.
Mandatory Training
Mandatory training includes the Nigerian module and Track A Modules 1 and 2. Additionally, training must include one module in Environment and Social Standards.
