Senior Level
Tier 3 represents a higher level of expertise, requiring significant experience and advanced training in procurement. Soft skills at this level are more advanced and include team management, leadership development, time management, decision-making, conflict resolution, stakeholder and vendor relationship management, and risk management. Professionals are also expected to demonstrate strong ethical conduct, enforce organizational standards, and utilize Management Information Systems (MIS) effectively.
What You Need
Academic Requirements
The academic qualification is a master’s degree in any field, though candidates with a bachelor’s degree or HND may also qualify with additional experience. A degree in procurement remains an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Candidates with MSC must have eight (8) years of employment with five (5) years in public procurement, while candidate with BSC or HND must have ten (10) years of employment with seven (7) years practicing procurement.
Mandatory Training
Mandatory training includes the Nigerian module and Track B programs offered by Centres of Excellence.
